Hello Everyone! Today was a lovely day in Southern California (if only my car's a.c. worked! ha!) - I did a little research this morning and found this great shop called Paper-Source. I had visited the store in Kansas City on my way out West, but had no idea there was a shop within driving distance :) . So I decided to head up there and grab some book cover paper - I'm excited to finish my books now! They had such a beautiful selection of papers, there were almost too many patterns and textures to choose from, but I survived the visual trauma and here is what I chose:
I came home and began working diligently on the piece I am donating. I'm happy with the progress, despite having problems with my embroidery floss bunching up :-/ . On a high note, I have chosen a title for the piece - an earnest devotion #1-9.
